Saved games and preferences

The game uses your browser’s local storage to remember poker and blackjack progress, virtual chip balances, your selected game, appearance, sound settings, and other play preferences. This is browser storage, not an account hosted by us.

Game progress and preferences are not sent to an application server by the game. They stay on the device and browser where you play. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access that saved game.

If storage is blocked or unavailable, the game may still run, but progress or preferences may not be remembered.

Removing your local data

Use your browser’s site settings to clear the stored data for this website. This removes saved games and preferences and cannot be undone. Clearing cookies alone may not clear local storage; look for the option to remove all site data.

Starting a fresh game resets that game’s progress, but does not necessarily remove your appearance or audio preferences. Saves do not automatically move between devices, browsers, or different website domains.

Requests to our hosting provider

Opening the site requests pages, scripts, images, fonts, and audio from our hosting infrastructure, currently provided through Railway. These requests necessarily expose technical information such as your IP address and request details to the hosting infrastructure.

The hosting provider may process technical logs for operations and security. We do not specify or promise a retention period for those infrastructure logs here. For information about Railway’s practices, see Railway’s privacy policy.

Analytics, ads, and cookies

The current release does not include third-party analytics, advertising tags, or advertising cookies. The game itself uses local storage for the functionality described above. This is not a claim that hosting infrastructure never processes technical data.

If analytics or advertising is introduced, this notice and any applicable consent controls will be updated before those features are enabled.

External websites have their own privacy practices. PlayForChips is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and does not ask players to submit personal profiles or payment information.
