BLACKJACK

How to play

You against the dealer. Get closer to 21 without going over. An ace can count as 1 or 11; face cards count as 10.

A round, from bet to reveal

  1. 5–500 CHIPS

    Place your bet

Choose a bet in multiples of 5, then deal. Your bet stays with your hand until the round is settled.

  2. TWO CARDS EACH

    The deal

Each player and the dealer receive two cards. One dealer card stays face down. An ace and a ten-value card make a natural blackjack.

  3. CLOSER TO 21

    Your moves

Take another card or keep your total. Beat the dealer without going over 21. Going over is a bust, and that hand loses.

  4. REVEAL & SETTLE

    The dealer’s turn

The dealer reveals the hidden card, draws to at least 17, and stands on every 17. Each of your hands is settled separately.

Your next move

Hit
Take one more card. You may hit again while below 21.
Stand
Keep your total and finish this hand.
Double
On your first two cards, add a bet equal to your current bet, take exactly one card, then stand. You need enough chips to cover it.
Split
Separate two cards of the same rank into two hands, adding an equal bet. Play each hand in turn. You can have at most two hands.

Your table

Play solo or add up to four computer guests. Everyone draws from the same shoe and bets separately against the dealer. There’s no shared pot; another player’s result never reduces your payout. Guests play face up and can hit, stand, double, and split by the same rules.

Choose 0–4 guests before starting. To change the guest count, restart from the lobby or Settings. Confirming a restart gives you 1,000 chips and a fresh shoe; your theme, avatar, and sound choices stay the same.

Natural blackjack
3:2Unless the dealer also has blackjack.
Regular win

Winning payouts are profit, with your bet returned too. A natural beats any other 21. A bust loses even if the dealer busts later.

This table’s rules

  • Six decks. The dealer stands on soft 17 as well as hard 17.
  • With an ace or ten-value card showing, the dealer checks for blackjack before you play.
  • Split equal ranks only: two kings can split; a king and a queen cannot. No re-splitting.
  • Split aces receive one more card each and stand. Other split hands can hit, stand, or double.
  • A 21 after splitting is a regular hand, paid at 1:1.
  • No insurance or surrender. Dealer rules stay the same every round.

What are this blackjack table’s rules?

The shoe contains six decks. The dealer stands on all 17s, including soft 17. A natural blackjack pays 3:2, a regular win pays 1:1, and a push returns your bet. Bets range from 5 to 500 chips in multiples of 5.

Is it free, and can I win money?

It is free to play. All balances and bets use virtual chips with no cash value. You cannot buy chips, deposit money, withdraw winnings, or win cash prizes. PlayForChips is entertainment for adults aged 18 and over.

Am I playing against other people?

No. You play against the automated dealer. Optional table guests are computer-controlled and do not share your winnings or losses. This is a single-player game.

Can I come back to my game?

Your progress and preferences are saved in this browser when storage is available. Return on the same device and browser to resume. Clearing site data removes the save; there is no account-based sync. You can restart from the lobby or the table’s settings.
